I’m thrilled to invite you on a musical journey with me. Learning piano is not just about mastering a skill; it’s about exploring the beauty and depth of music and how it enriches our lives.

Why Choose Me?

  • Custom-Tailored Lessons: We’ll start by scheduling a complimentary class where we’ll dive into your musical background and discuss your goals and aspirations. I’ll provide a personalized spreadsheet planner and an interstitial journal to map out your journey, breaking down the steps, tasks, analyses, and homework assignments we’ll tackle together. Additionally (optional), I provide to my students Zoom AI transcripts, offering a full summary of the lesson as an aid for your practice time.

  • Interactive Learning: I use a three-device setup and a special bird's-eye view cam to closely show you my hand movements.

  • Flexible Scheduling: Options for weekly lessons and flexible scheduling via Calendly.

Lesson Options:

  1. $185/month: 1-hour weekly lessons. After the first class, we'll set a weekly schedule (e.g., Tue @ 6 PM) with flexibility to reschedule as needed.

  2. $50/1-hour lessons: More flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle (for example reserve a time slot every other week to stay in shape).

INCLUDED: One 15-Min Weekly Progress Check-In Session. Think of this weekly meeting as a little check-in to help you stay on track, review your homework before the next class, and give you additional support and guidance. These mini-sessions are super helpful!

+ Weekly talks: You’re welcome to join our multiple weekly meetings to delve into specific piano topics. You’ll get my video lecture beforehand free of charge to study and practice. Each meeting is one hour in length and the fee is $25/each.

Preparing for your first class:

  • Materials: Have a music notebook or some music staff paper ready. I’ll provide the rest of the materials in a Google Drive after the class. If you have a tablet and pencil let me know so you can get my Ceballos Studio custom-designed composition staff notebook.

  • Device Setup: For best experience use two devices (computer or tablet in front, phone to the side for hand movements).

My Teaching Style:

I focus on nurturing your creativity and curiosity. We’ll use active recall, mnemonic devices and special “secret” practice techniques to make learning effective and enjoyable. Composition and improvisation are at the heart of our sessions, bringing music to life and deepening your understanding. Our classes provide a safe and welcoming space for you to explore and ask questions. Make sure to prepare a cup of tea (or your favorite drink), and have a snack handy (it really helps with concentration!) 🫢🫢
